The software product QMSys Threads and Gauges is a program designed for engineers, quality control managers, mechanics, etc., and its purpose is to save time and prevent human errors in determining nominal and limit values of thread parameters. The calculated results are based on international standards and comprise information about values and tolerances of threaded products, working gauges, plug and ring gauges as well as check gauges.
QMSys Threads and Gauges comprises data base and methods of calculating the nominal and limit sizes of the following types of threads:

- Unified Threads (UNC, UNF, UNEF, UN, UNR, UNJC, UNJF, UNJEF, UNJ)
- Whitworth Threads (BSW, BSF, Whit.S., Whit.)

- ANSI Pipe Threads, general purpose (NPT, NPSC, NPTR, NPSM, NPSL)

- ANSI Aeronautical Pipe Threads (ANPT)
- ANSI Hose Coupling Threads (NPSH, NH)
- NFPA Fire-hose coupling threads (NH)
- Metric Trapezoidal Threads (Tr)
- Metric Stub Trapezoidal Threads (Tr)
- Trapezoidal Threads (ACME, STUB ACME)
- Miniature Threads (M, UNM)
- Metric Buttress Threads 33°, 45°(S)
- ANSI Buttress Threads 52°
- Knuckle Threads, general purpose, for the mining, Lifting Hooks (Rd)
- Steel conduit thread (Pg)
- API casing, tubing, line pipe threads (LP, CSG, LCSG, TBG, UP LTBG, IJ TBG, BCSG, XCSG, LTC)

- Non-standard and special threads
- Automatic corrections for coatings
- Calculation of mean size and bilateral symmetrical tolerance of the thread diameters (this function is very useful in the design and CNC-programming)
For determining the pitch diameter during measurement by the 3 wire/ball method, the limiting values of the outcome from measuring by the method described in the publication EA ? 10/10 are additionally calculated.
